Lately, whenever I watch some of these commentators discuss The Queen, they always say that the correct way to address her is as "Your Royal Highness". Since when? I know that they are perpetually tinkering with these titles (ie., Edward's children).
But since when did it not become correct to address her as YOUR MAJESTY.
I heard this several times, on several different news networks and dismissed it out of hand as know nothing Americans ( am an American thank you), but then yesterday Regis had some British reporter as temp co-host say she met HM and correct address is YRH.
At one time, if you said that to her you would probably be sprawled out on Queen Victoria's lap across from Buckingham Palace.
