It’s nice to see the family having a good time as they’ve had so much stress & sadness dealing with Kate’s illness.

I have nothing against her & I understand she is generous & kind plus she helps the economy wherever she performs. But, I just don’t like her music. I listened to her latest album when I was exercising & the tunes sounded repetitive & many lyrics quite questionable for young people; I do wonder why parents don’t object? I guess she has a good voice but nothing special, to me. I do like that she bonds kids with their parents. I just don’t care for her music. I do love her beau!

@Etoile308 True! I live in WA some miles from Seattle. She did some concerts here not that long ago and the paper was full of photos of young girls and their grandmas enjoying it together. Lots of photos of girls and women in the bead shops making bracelets together. The stories and photos were delightful.

@Nancy Drew I feel like she's basically this generation's Hannah Montana, and maybe that's the void Taylor is filling, although Taylor's lyrics are more adult. Her voice is decent, she's a good performer, and her songs are catchy.

@ID2 You must know her personally. How did you meet?

In any event, I saw the pictures on Facebook of the children and William so happy and enjoying themselves. They had a rough year and it was nice to see the joy in their faces.

I know many here do not do Facebook and thought they would enjoy the pictures.

Please don't ruin the thread.
