American name?  Hmmm.  Let's give her some options:

Isabella Olivia Beyonce (and pick from a Kardashian, they are interchangeable, here for the next one).

Or how about put together ALL the K family names?  I don't remember all of them. . .

They will announce the birth, but Meghan and Harry will not appear as they leave the hospital in the traditional photo.  I think this is fair.  Their child is not a possible heir to the throne like William and Kate's children.

Having given birth myself, I always admired Diana and Kate for appearing just hours after giving birth all coiffed, made up, wearing a nice dress, and even with high heels as they left the hospital almost immediately.  I also thought it was very considerate of them to leave hospital so soon. They understood their being at Lindo Hospital was a big disruption for everyone.

You never know with those two,,, it am sure Her Majesty would not be amused with anything that is not perfectly traditional. They have some beautiful names as possibilities...just hope they don’t try and step too far out of the box....won’t be worth it in the long run. Am praying for a healthy baby and a healthy mother at the end of the day.

I haven't seen a hint of that mentioned anywhere.  Like they would announce a C-Section?

I read somewhere last week that she wants an American name, not a traditional English name.

@Harvard99

I have seen you request posters name their source when passing on this kind of information.  In kind, I think you might do the same.

@magicmoodz   I was vague when I initially wrote this because I didn't recall where I read it and if I had, I surely would have named it then.. I was being upfront and honest.   I only request someone provide a source if a statement doesn't ring true.  What have you learned about this, something different maybe?

I had not heard that the couple were considering an American name for their baby, but an American nanny. This was reported on our local news' “entertainment” spot recently, and I see the articles all over the Internet, including on Vanity Fair's style section:

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry Might Be Hiring an American Nanny

"They are keen to explore the possibility of a male nanny.”

There’s a new bit of reported intel from the British press this week that Meghan and Harry may have decided to go in a different direction from Prince William and Kate Middleton, who hired a "Norland nanny," as is the royal tradition, and instead look for an nanny who hails from the U.S. According to the Daily Mail, Meghan has asked a “specialist recruitment agency” who will be looking for someone who can start the job within the next three months.

A source told the Mirror: "Meghan was clear in telling recruiters she favours an American over a Brit and wants them to feel part of the family rather than a uniformed member of staff," continuing, "That is important to her, she’s never hidden the fact she is fiercely proud of her American roots."
