It had been announced earlier that Roy had tested positive for COVID-19.

Siegfried had made a statement that Roy was doing well but it seems some who have COVID-19 and appear to do well seem to downslide suddenly and slip away.

SIgfried cared lovingly for Roy throughout his disability; a true friendship like that is wonderful.

RIP, Roy.

I am so sorry to hear this!

I remember praying for him when he was attacked by the tiger several years back. I felt sure that something had frightened the tiger and this is why he attacked him.

Either way-- it must not have been easy for him all these years since then and I hope he can truly RIP.
