Severe storms and a couple of Tornado touchdowns through the St. Louis area last night into early this morning.  We also had hail. I was up until after 3 am watching the weather reporters on TV.  The tornado was a O rated but there were some trees uprooted and roof damage in St. Louis County no injuries thank goodness ! The storms have been moving east so everyone stay safe !

It's getting cold here again, we had a high of 80 yesterday it's suppose to be in the 40's tomorrow.

Yes, the storms here were bad last night, especially with the hail. I thought for sure my windows would break with how hard the hail was hitting them! And is it ever cold and windy today in St. Louis! I want spring back! LOL!

😮 Whew! Mother Nature's fury never ceases to amaze me! I am SO happy to know NO ONE was harmed this time!❤ Glad you did not lose power and are able to come and "visit" with us!🥰 I am HOPING this is the LAST of the nasty weather for now, and that everyone stays safe!🤞💝

One of my daughters used to live in St Louis and we always used to say she would be safe from bad weather because of the "Arch Effect" which protects St Louis from storms.  Now I know in reality this is just a crazy theory, but I had fun reading about it.

Glad you are safe and did not have damage.

I am in Illinois and we had lots and lots of rain but no storms.  Hope everyone stays safe as it moves east.

Wow That "Arch Effect" is a new one on me ! I've never heard that before and I've been hear all of my life

Oh yes!  There is a whole conspiracy theory that the Arch was built to control the weather!  🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

She no longer lives in St Louis and I sure miss going down there to visit her.  We had some really good times!  Baseball games, eating at Pappy's Smokehouse, taking the grands to The City Museum and Grants Farm.  

I want to come down this Spring to go to the Botanical Garden again.  I always enjoy that so much!

I Love Pappy's Smokehouse, Yum ! Awesome place ! I've been to Grants farm, my Mom who passed in 2020 from Covid loved the Cardinals. I have never been to The City museum or the Botanical Garden but I hear they are  great places to visit. I hope you are able to visit again and have a great time !  If you get a chance take a ride up the leg of the Arch !

I'm in NYC and it's been raining cats and dogs for two days!   My joints were aching so bad I took Tylenol for arthritis for relief.  The wind was crazy too, I saw on the news trees fell down in some areas.

In Maryland.  Terrible rain for 3 days straight.  Big down pours then drizzle, then the down pours start up again.  Today is the first day with some kind of sun.  We dodged the storms those 3 days.  Just constant rain. However today there is a chance of thunderstorms this afternoon.  If it comes, it will be first one of Spring.
