I am so fed up with rubber gloves for the kitchen! I always have kept my nails short, because it was required in my profession. I buy rubber(?) Platex or whatever gloves to use in the kitchen, and of course, I always end up with a hole in the right hand one after about two weeks. (I am right handed.) Anyone out there who is left handed and has a pile of good right hand gloves sitting around and want to trade? LOL! This last time, I bought some gloves at Walmart that I thought were really going to be nice. They were the typical yellow latex or whatever but had a blue nitrile layer over the yellow layer. Great, I thought! Extra strong! So what happened? I didn't poke a hole in them. Instead, the blue started rotting off, and I got streaks of blue all over my dishes, counter tops, and appliances. (I do have a dishwasher, but if there are just a couple dishes, I just go ahead and hand wash.) And...the blue streaks don't want to come off! I'm going to have to take some high-power kitchen cleanser or something to get them off. Anyone know of any really GOOD brand of rubber gloves? Grrrrrowwl! ~~ Tabby
