She won't be returning after she finishes her latest play which has kept her away. The stats on the show have been falling, and they are looking for a younger person to take Perez's seat on the panel. This was just reported on my home page news.

Wonder why they picked her to leave. I think Whoopi is older than all of them isn't she?

I think they said she never really fit with the way the show was structured, plus she had trouble reading tele prompters and adjusting to the procedures. It may have been a mutual decision.

There wasn't a great deal of positive feedback in the media about her presence at The View. Can't say as I blame her but good for her for trying.

Ratings have gone way down and desention among the ladies. Network wants to cancel show. Whooping has a year contract left and gets paid somewhere around a million, so they will lose money. Today,s show was more stupid than the rest. Like Mario Cantonese, but even with him it was ridiculous. I watch while on treadmill, but will switch to WIINDY WILLIAMS, not quite as bad.

For some reason I watched the show with Rosie and the Frozen quiz that was rather funny, and Mario is always worth watching.

I think The View has run its course, but what else could the network put in its place? another talk show, so they may as well stay with what they have, because whatever they do will still be the same. KWIM?
