Well, here we go.......Rose of Tralee.......celebration.

Am so surprised that Jane R. Tracey is not the host of the first show of the celebration.  She is usually the first host of the day for them.

Jacque said something about them all going to Ireland next year......LOL......that will never happen.

Really like this first item.

Hi, @ShowMe!Heart  I was surprised that Jane's not on the first show.

So glad you're here!  Just be sure to rest when you start feeling tired, okay?

I like the sweater Amy's wearing, don't think I've seen it before.Smiley

Good morning dear friend.  I will not be on here very long.  Am getting tired now...It's been a long day and I do need some sleep really soon.

Wonder of Jane will do the closing show??????

I have a number of merino wool sweaters from them and like all of them.  The merino is so soft.

Am so glad you joined tonight......have fun.

Hi, sweet friend!  Just listen to your body and do what's best.Heart

I don't really need any more sweaters -- I was so lucky, my DHHeart went to Ireland on a bicycling trip and brought back several really pretty sweaters for me.  So I'll probably not purchase any of those even though it's interesting to window shop.

Re: Rose of Tralee Celebration

Hi ShowMe & fellow Rose of Tralee Celebrants!

I'm also missing the old days when we'd get an entire day of Irish made products for both Rose of Tralee and St. Patrick's Day.  That said, I'm thilled to have found something I don't yet have....The Waterford Crystal & Connemara Marble Lamp (H203988)!  I also finally grabbed the adorable Belleek Bunny Basket (H07832)I've had my eye on for years.

Hi, @julidc!  Those are nice!  I was just perusing the Belleek items on the website, thinking of a couple of gifts I want to buy.Heart

Re: Rose of Tralee Celebration

@ShowMe   Thank you for filling me in about the posters - nice of you to digress from the wonderful RofT day for a moment.

I would get the cape in the gray, although I'm very fair and the gray and natrual colors would pale me out.  I like the blue, as I wear a lot of jeans, but just think the gray is more practical in terms of - as you stated - going with everything and besides, I can put something near my face like a scarf or hat to brighten up my pale-ness.  I'll probably order the gray but this year, like St. Pat's Day, something is making me hesitate from pushing that submit order button.

Love that sweater with all the buttons - and I"ve admired that teapot ever since it was first brought.  It's a real piece of art and useful. I like all of that artist's works but I like the teapot the best.

Looking forwward to the rest of the show today - I SO MISS the 24 hr. Irish shows.

Oh, I too was surprised Jane wasn't hosting at 1:00 a.m.

As for the QF TSV, don't buy those pant with those stones on the pockets if you have leather car seats - uh uh - you'll be sorry!

Re: Rose of Tralee Celebration

Meant to ask - what did you all think of the new sweater Jacqui was wearing at midnight?  A271210

I didn't think the sleeves were particularly flattering, and the whole sweater looked kind of matronly to me.

Re: Rose of Tralee Celebration

I ordered the color shown.  For some reason this new sweater comes in 4 colors - 3 shades of grey and beige.  I needed a new neutral color to go with everything.
