Re: Rose of Tralee Celebration

Years ago when they started this program I loved watching all day long.  I bought several  large crystal vases.  Wonderful sweaters and shawls....etc.

But as time went by they turned into a religious program.  Ireland is more than that.

I no longer watch.

@ShowMe  I'm looking forward to all the shows! I already bought an Irish sweater in the new color  'wine' A259709 (already have it in parsnip and gray)...

Re: Rose of Tralee Celebration

Sadly they have cut these shows to only a few hours during that day...I wonder who made that decision....the Q. or our friends from Ireland...

Having Quacker Factory as the TSV, on that day, does not seem a good fit...why have Bling as the TSV ...followed by beautiful Irish clothing...

Frankly I am dissappointed....however I will still watch our freinds from Ireland...

Re: Rose of Tralee Celebration

Hello, Showme, I always really enjoy the Irish shows and hope I see something new, for myself or to set aside as a holiday gift.  I'm not too hopeful, though.  I don't care for the jewelry so much and in the preview the selection of Belleek and Waterford or other crystal seemed a bit limited.   I do like one of the cardigans and will hope for a special event price.

I'll be watching, @ShowMe!  I miss the way the shows were presented in years past, though, being all day long and offering more products.  Thanks for the reminder!

I'm sure this was QVC's decision.  That nice Connemara marble man would love to have this show on all day again.  That said.  The Q is under new management and these are the time slots they got.  Let's be happy with that and enjoy.

Re: Rose of Tralee Celebration

I love this show every year as I do the other Irish Day.... but I'm very disappointed that everything I saw on my "preview" are items that seem to be left over from the other shows, or the same items (like the perfume) just replenished.

Everything is on sale as well as though they are trying to sell most of the inventory and wind down from this presentation.  Maybe they'll only be presenting one Irish show from now on.  Anyway.... I love the shows, will watch but don't see anything new and exciting... I was actually interested in another long sweater with a hood, but don't see that one.....

I would be estatic if they offered the "Cottage" Industries again.  I have a stool from years ago that is exceptional!  That's the kind of thing I'm after as well.....

Steven Walsh.  I love that guy - he's always so cheerful.
