There will be more to say' Why NBC rejected Weinstein story
He then touched on the media's failure to cover the alleged inappropriate behavior of powerful men: The question of the complicity of the media playing in keeping this quiet for as long as it was quiet, are important ones. I think there will be more to say about that as time goes on and various investigations into this unfold.

When he first appeared on MSNBC I kind of thought it a joke ...
But believe me I have a new found respect for him ....
Great reporting ....

"Media" as an *entire entity* would not quash a story unless they are in a country where there is no freedom of the press.
In this case, many various entities (studios, actors, businesses, even charities) would be affected. Anyone with mega-power over so many people and so much money causes the individual reporting entities to be super cautious to the extreme. Thankfully, eventually, the truth comes out.
No doubt Farrow was frustrated at being held back. Waiting for exposure and justice is always so. People in high places who have broken a law are always protected too long.

Ronan is one reporter that is actually doing what reporters are supposed to do, and that is to search for the truth, regardless of political affiliation, etc. Many reporters nowadays give a pass to anyone who agrees with them politically, focusing instead on smearing 'the other guys'.
I have no doubt that Ronan is in the same political party as Weinstein, and with his Hollywood legacy, he would have every reason to conveniently overlook Weinstein's misdeeds. Thankfully Ronan is able to rise above what others have been unable to do. Kudos to him and he definitely has my respect as well.
