Rocky Mount QVC Site

They just showed a recent shot of the fire site on our local NBC station and it was still covered with a layer of thick smoke and is smoldering. Firefighters still trying to extinguish hot spots. Much of the roof is gone. If there was a lot of fabric, it could smolder for days. What a sad mess!

I feel so bad for the employees. I know QVC has insurance and will eventually get reimbursed but losing your job has to be one of the worst things. Praying for everyone.

This is all so devastating. I don't know how much more bad and sad news we all can take. I pray for all the people involved with this tragedy. I am thankful I didn't see that news cast, just hearing about this breaks my heart.

Rather warehouse or Tornados, we have lost lives and that's the very sad thing about all of the tragedy that has happened over the past few weeks and this close to Christmas. I think of the families who have lost love ones. So sad. I watched Amy on QVC give the QVC statement about the tragedy and one life lost at the end of the Logo show today and she was nearly in tears. I found myself tearing up as well. Lost income from this devastation, people will suffer. Hats off to the agencies who are working to help all who have lost homes, lives and jobs.
