I am so sick of getting these darn calls!!!!!!  With all of our technology, why can't someone come up with a way to screen and block this garbage??????

Easy low cost method I use when I really want quiet is to unplug my base phone. Plug it back in when I want to call someone.

It's rare that I get robo calls.  I must be doing something right! Smiley Very Happy

We own the call blocker from the Q. We like it and are now receiving fewer calls

Have you tried signing up for NomoRobo?  It's free and it works like a charm.

We seem to get them in waves but nomorobo cuts them right off.

My unwanted calls are in a lull.  I was getting daily calls from breast cancer something.  They changed their number often.  I think they finally gave up.

Recently I've had two calls on my cell phone.  I give that number only to people I want to receive calls from.  I think I gave it to my credit card company to text if there are fraudulent charges on my cc.  The caller is a robo asking if I want to lower my cc rate, press one.  I reported them to my cc company and they said it wasn't affiliated to them.  Once I pressed one and they wanted my cc #.  I said you have it, you called me.  They ended up hanging up on me.

we broke down and got a V5000 no more robo calls. it attaches to the side of the phone (we do have a land line). cost us $100.00 or so, came from England but arrived within 1 week. so nice to pick up the phone and if it is a robo call, hit the huge red button and NO more calls from that number.

You get 5000 numbers to block on this unit. Am up to #26 calls since we got our unit. It is so nice.

If a robo calls comes in from the same number, a quick ring  comes in that is it, the calls is cut off.

I use NomoRobo too and it blocks many calls but not all. I am more annoyed with the CallerID Spoofing. I have had calls that show my own name as the caller, and worse I have received at least 5 calls over the past few months that show our local hospital's name in Caller ID.  I answered the first time. It was a robo call.

I have been receiving the same type of calls.  The Caller ID suggests they are coming from a local phone number. I never answer, but I call the number on my cell phone, and every time I have done this, the message states the number has been disconnected.  I also keep a LOUD whistle by the phone, and if necessary, I blow it into the phone, which will render the caller deaf for a while.
