Re: Robin Williams slashed $5 million off

The place is beautiful and set in the most beautiful country. Its very open, light and airy with many unique decorative touches. I find it appealing and relaxing and not pretentious at all. A huge staff would be needed to keep this place up for sure!

I would need to hire Mrs. Doubtfire to do the cleaning.

If it doesn't have a private air strip, I'm not interested.

I wonder why Robin is selling?

My dream is to go to all the places in the movie ""Sideways"" and drink pinot noir all over CA.

Just stay away from the Merlot. No Merlot!

One of my friends has a bumper sticker that says ""Friends don't let friends drink merlot.""

I bet you've read "A Year In Provence"? I have!..and the sequels.. I would love that, too...Smile

I have not read those!! I guess I better put those on my book-read list Smiley Happy

A Year In Provence was written by Peter Mayle. He wrote a series of these books from late 80s to early 90s, describing his life as he and his wife retired to Provence and bought and restored an old farmhouse. Great stuff! Especially if you've traveled to France, or anywhere in rural Europe..the characters are hilarious.

He wrote sequels "Toujours Provence," "Encore Provence" and "French Lessons."

The books will make you hungry too...he really does a good job of describing the wine and the food. Smile

sigh..still on my list of places to go...Smile

Re: Robin Williams slashed $5 million off

He use to live in Belveder in Marin County, in CA, between San Francisco and Sonoma county. I think that was with his first wife. Didn't he get married again recently. He was on Leno and announced it. May be divorced by now. I remember as a young girl when he started at a comedy club in San Francisco, I lived in the city born and raised.

I'll take Bruce Willis' home.
