I was stunned when I heard that he'd died. I didn't know him personally but for some reason his death is hitting me really hard.

I echo your sentiments, sgraham30. He must have been in a very dark place that morning and been so alone in his feelings. He was one of a kind, for sure. I wish he could have been as happy as he seemed, and as happy as he made us. I am very sad over his death.

Mike Wallace fought and apparently conquered depression. Too bad RW wasn't as fortunate.

His death goes to show you that "depression" is very REAL! So many people do not think of it as a "real" sickness because you can not see it! So, so Sad!

Exactly, thank you! He and almost everyone else who has walked his path. What difference does it make to dissect it? Let's hope that he will finally have the peace that must have been eluding him.
