They should appeal. The two songs have bits in common but so do all songs.

Led zepplin so plagarized Spirit. The spirit song sounds exactly like Stairway....same chords.

Lory - the jury listened to numerous song bars (I dont know how many) both the Pharrell/Thicke and Gaye - side by side and found all but two bars matched.....

Thats interesting. I would love to see/hear exactly which parts were compared. I do hear the similarities in the cow bells. Now if you compare Taurus/stairway I can pick out exactly the couple of notes which are different.
