Re: Robbie Robertson has died

That is sad to hear.  The movie "The Last Waltz" is one of my favorite musical movies.  He brought joy to many people through his songs.  RIP Heart

Re: Robbie Robertson has died

oh no!!  Really enjoyed his music and I too enjoyed The Last Waltz.  Another great loss to the music community.  And for those of us who experienced his music during our "younger days".

RIP Robbie Robertson. We love the music. His comment about The Band ending in The Last Waltz was compelling- 'it's a gd impossible way to live'. He was special.

Re: Robbie Robertson has died

Up on Cripple Creek, one of my favorite Band songs, I loved all their music.  I am sorry to hear of Robbie Robertson's passing  I have seen The Last Waltz so many times and never tire of it.  My sister lived at Woodstock in the late sixties and often saw many of he musicians of that time in town.

The Band have left their mark in the music world and their songs will live on.  Their songs will always bring back wonderful memories of a time I loved.  May Robbie be at peace with God, thanks for the great music.
