I love Ripka, have a nice collection of pieces I bought many years ago before the prices went out of sight.

Lately I have read many threads stating people are no long buying--just looking. I thought it would be interesting to take a poll and add up the numbers.

How many JRQ fans are now watching & no longer buying???

Me...me...and me. I love her jewelry but can not justify most of the prices...not all but most.

I have a LOT of early Ripka - the only piece with diamonique was the puffed heart of the leather cord...but you could reverse it and wear the brushed sterling side.

When she started featuring fake stones...I bailed.

Some of the newer large cuffs are so over the top...where are these appropriate to wear???

They are way too gaudy for work, IMO.

Not positive but I think I only have one piece of her jewelry -- earrings with those fat posts. I like a more artsy-fartsy feel to my jewelry.

i dont watch too much anymore.....sometimes it is on in the background. between my collection and my moms collection i have a lot to choose from. i am no longer looking for anything with diamonique, so anything that has that i am not interested in. i only want all silver or silver and real stones.......AND it has to be marked down......and i dont just mean a few dollars. if i see a piece that meets all of those requirements and i love it, then i will probably buy it.

i am really liking barbara bixby and michael dawkins much more these days.

I liked BB's earlier pieces very much and have several of those.

Me. I quit buying over a year ago. The prices became out of reach for me and I wasn't crazy about what I thought was a change in design direction from her line. There is to much diamonique now. I actually don't even watch her shows anymore. I have a nice collection I am happy with so that is fine with me. I'm sure something else will catch my eye.

Me. And since I've retired, I have been considering putting most of my older pieces on eBay.

I have some early pieces and a more recent ring. I don't watch anymore. I prefer a more organic look.
