Rick Springfield's new album was released yesterday (Aug 4).  

"Automatic" was written and produced by Springfield and features himself playing all guitars and keyboard.  

This good looking 74 year old is still going strong and tours every year.  I want to see him perform again.  I've loved him since the days of General Hospital when Jessie's Girl was released.

Do you have any Rick Springfield stories to share?

Hmmm Not sure you want to read this but here where's he's lived for a while, he's had troubles with domestic violece.  He's known for beating up his girlfriends and a wife I believe.  

Went ot see him once and he wasn't all that nice to the female audence.

Had no idea about his domestic abuse. Hope those women are not putting up with it. If he hit me I would hit him back. My younger sister had an abusive boyfriend. She never got married or had kids due to the abuse. She never wanted to have anything to do with men again. Sad.

I was about 5 years old when Rick had a cartoon series like the Osmonds and the Jackson 5 called Mission Magic.  I also loved his first US solo hit Speak to the Sky which my teenaged aunt had on a K Tell record.

Not sure what you mean.  I've seen him 3 times and he was spectacular each time.  I had the chance to say hello to him after one of his concerts.

he has a show on Sirius XM, Working Class DJ, were he plays songs and tells stories about different artists.  Kind of fun and some good stories.  It is on the '80s channel.
