Reviews - Just Curious!

I just looked through 50 reviews on a fashion item and recognized 5 names I talk with here on the forums.

So I started wondering - how many people post on both, how many people do not participate in the forums but post reviews frequently, and how many people participate in the forums, but don't regularly post reviews.

Which one are you? I'm #3. If I'm excited or disappointed about something I've received I usually post in the forums. I seldom post reviews. I need to do that more often.

(Of course the names I didn't recognize could post on forums I'm not that familiar with too!).

I post regularly on the forums...mostly Beauty & WEN forums & write reviews.

Well, I post on here pretty often and I post reviews for most of the things I order.

I like to read reviews to help me decide on an item. I get super annoyed with the reviewers that only rant about the shipping, or how qvc doesn't carry their size or the absolute worst-- people who haven't even received the item yet. LOL I try to keep my reviews to the product. As I hope it helps somebody decide if they do really want to try it. Because the shipping at qvc is a killer. LOL

I don't know. If I'm happy, I keep it, if I'm not, I send it back. Which one is that?

I'm just not a review person, good or bad. I also don't review items in the forums either.

I write a review on virtually everything I buy. I also obviously write many posts.

@justashopper - I couldn't agree with you more. I once read three reviews that panned an item, and it hadn't even been presented yet!

I write reviews on some things I buy. I've been buying a lot of clothes lately so I have written more reviews than usual and the majority of my reviews are positive ones. I usually click the box to notify me when my review(s) have been posted but rarely, if any times, do I receive that notification. I have written several reviews on some of my recent purchases and noticed they haven't been posted.

I can't even remember the year it was that I last purchased an item here. Now my wife? Orders quite often, but I don't know, or am I curious what she purchases.

That said, there is nothing that I could review. You said you were #3, and I have no idea what that number represents. Whatever number equals writes no reviews, but does post on forums? That would be me.

I read reviews on almost everything I buy. If 10 out of 12 people say it runs big I believe it. If half say it looks good and half hate it I figure it is just a matter of taste. I am not as good at writing reviews as I should be since I am a big reader of them. I tend to post more if the product is horrible or great. If it is mediocre I figure that some will love it and some will hate it. I do post some reviews on the forum but mostly on the item.
