I knew it would be faux Amanda who died. I had begun to like the character, and perhaps that was done on purpose to make it sadder. I did wonder why faux Emily did not call out her real name though when she had to at least suspect she was in the water somewhere and probably near death.

It seems they are bringing the series to a place where they can end it pretty quickly if they have to and that's why we may see some favorite characters bite the dust.
