Although I didn't not agree with some of his views, he certainly loved God and a man to be respected for his great work in the ministry.

Aw, I really liked him. Actually, he was the first television minister I used to watch as a young woman. He had a sweet way about him and I liked to listen to him. He had a gentle charisma and he seemed genuinely nice. I still love his Be Attitudes book and I have his biography, which is very interesting. May he RIP and be with Jesus.

I didn't know the church declared bankruptcy and the cathedral was sold. That must have been quite a blow to him.

When the business was going bankrupt there was a huge investigation and subsequent news articles. Board members and some family with shady dealings with money. Schuller's wife was sick and parishioners were donating money, providing meals, etc....only to find out that they were being scammed....

I read his book. He seemed like a great man. No connection to scandal that I saw. Not of my denomination but a great guy all the same (from what I know).
