Re: Restaurants That Don't Have Dine In Anymore.

I read that five large cities have 60% of restaurants and other businesses such as spas, gyms, bars, and salons will not reopen. They are permanently closing. Dallas is one of the cities. I live near Dallas and it seems the independently owned places have suffered the worst by far. We have tried to spend our money with them to help but guess it is just not enough.

After I read that half of those in ICU with COVID had eaten inside a restaurant in the previous two weeks of going to the ER, I have not missed eating inside a restaurant since March 13 at all. We get takeout occasionally  but can't say I miss getting dressed and going out to dine in a restaurant that much. The risk isn't worth it to me.

Re: Restaurants That Don't Have Dine In Anymore.

Our governor restricted indoor dining for a long time, so it wasn’t the restaurant owners who decided not to have diners inside. Almost all are open now, but still don’t see many cars in parking lots. Fewer tables and diners allowed, so many decided to stay closed as they can’t make enough to stay open with only half the tables available.
