Reports that the gunman Lanza had an altercation with four staff members at the school the day before

As the investigation unfolds it has been reported that someone (presumably the gunman) visited Sandy Hook Elementary School the day before Friday's massacre, during which he was involved in an altercation with four members of staff - three of whom are now dead.

Could it be that he was trying to get school records for his background check? He tried to buy a gun days before and was turned down because he didn't have all the information for a background check.
