I know exactly how you feel.  I have never heard of James Rosen but I felt exactly that way about Charlie Rose - just so disappointed.

@esmerelda, I don't get the seque from your first sentence to the rest of your post. "We have to watch out for the normal ones" seems to mean that you are essectially agreeing with hooty, who said we have to watch out for the quiet ones.

Okay, so we might expect some quiet and/or normal people to be accused of sexual harassment. Right?

How in the heck do you then get to Oprah and her being outed? Yes, we all know that some in the industry were well aware of his reputation but said nothing. Shame on them now in hindsight.

Seems that you're more concerned with the latter than the former. The focus should be on the aggressors first, shoudn't it?

And as others have noted repeatedly, in real life, not the rarified world of celebrities or politicians, women and men have to weigh their options about coming forward. Heck, the same could be said for many of the "little" people even in Hollywood and the halls of congress and other political sites.

You'd think that, but no. I don't have to watch his network because of coverage of things he has done on the networks I do watch. But thanks for your "concerned" advice.

I don't understand why networks you watch would spend time on him.  I understand people giving those they dislike space in their heads, but airtime by networks?  Surely there are other, more important things that they could cover.

I think it's because he uses conspiracy sites to report as real news, and he has the ear and attention of someone in a very high place. Hence, other networks cover whatever commotion he has caused if it makes a big enough stink. He's been caught with egg on his face, but that has not deterred him when the next conspiracy theory comes through. He's not mentioned all the time, just enough for me to have my fill of him. I watch mostly my local network news and then later in the evening I watch cable news.

I don't know who he is either. Don't watch faux "news".  Makes you wonder if any men are going to be left standing to do their jobs. Sad to say though, this is going to be happening for some time to come, In all aspects of the workforce. It happens just about everywhere.

James Rosen was an excellent reporter.  He will be missed.
