after that horrific shooting in DC at the baseball practice, and months of surgeries, and rehab, Rep Steve Scalise is returning to the House of Representatives. i admire his grit - and wish him well. i am sure his family is all smiles.

I saw video this morning of him walking with crutches, he's made wonderful progress, and he wants us to know he is not hospitalized, as one person has been claiming.

i think Sen Thad Cochran was also laid up although now home.  he has not been there to vote on recent supposed squeakers.

It's Thad Cochran, a senator, that that person was referring to.  He's also denied being hospitalized -- lol.

It is beyond distressing that some think they can express their unhappiness with a gun. I do not agree with Mr Scalese on just about every issue but these monsters who express themselves with violence are a great threat to our democracy. I wish him well in his recovery and naively wish we could be more humane in expressing our views. If this post is zapped, that's all the more reason to be distressed.
