Diana was a beautiful person inside and out. Yes I remember where I was and what I was doing when I heard the news.

@OKPrincess Me, too. She truly made a lasting, positive difference in the world——largely by just being her wonderful self. Great lesson for us all.

It is so sad that things happened as they did. She would have been such a sweet grandmother.

I loved her and miss her too. I wish she would have had a happier life.  Abandoned by her Mother, dismissed and mistreated by her husband and the royals.  So kind and giving of herself. At least her boys brought her love. 😥😥

Such a sad time.  I'll never forget it.  Or her.

Beautiful pics.

I often wonder what else she would have done with her life and where she'd be and what she'd be doing if she hadn't passed so early. I wonder about her boys too, and if they would be different had she lived longer.

It is sad how, in my opinion the royal family chewed her up and spit her out. I always thought she had no idea what she was in for when she married and they took advantage of her to produce the next generation of heirs then tossed her out.

I too wish she had found more happiness in life, and that she could not only have been here longer to continue all the good works she involved herself in, but to love and enjoy her children and grandchildren now.

I spent about an hour yesterday afternoon on Pinterest just looking at so many photos of her since I have always thought of the 30th and 31st of August her final day.  It is still so hard to believe she is no longer with us.  What a loving Mom she was and the Grandmother she would have been would have touched all our hearts.
