Remember when QVC stood for Quality,Value and Convenience?

I am hoping and praying they can get back to that place where they started. When they used to have so much really neat and unique things. Now I feel like it has become a dime store - I would love for them to go back to the standards from the beginning. I also hope the new CEO will tell the hosts to stop the hard sell tactics. The items should be so good that we can't wait to buy them and no hard sell needed. I guess I'm dreaming but that is what I wish for.

I wouldn't call it a dime store, but it sure is boring. It's the same old, same old all the time: Bose, Kitchen Aid, Serta, Dyson, Dell, Ripka...

If you've seem them once, you'd seen it all.

I think the home shopping thing is headed the way of the dinosaur. Young people don't purchase from tv. And according to recent news reports young people use credit cards far less than prior generations.

It's boring and repetitive. Some of The hosts can be obnoxious to listen to. Their shipping stops me a lot of the time

I have had no problem with the quality. The same items being shown over and over for years... now there is the problem.

Their quality control has gotten 'way too uneven. And the convenience and value suffered when other e-tailers emerged and became stiff competition. I hope they're rethinking their priorities.

I had to stop buying from a few of the clothing lines because of sizing issues. It's not consistent at all

Really? That's interesting, MomTo2Dogs. I can believe the not shopping via TV but the not using credit cards surprises me.

I used to have a home based business (think Tupperware but it's not Tupperware). I'm just getting out of it because of a lot of changes. We are learning that all home based businesses like that are on the decline because people don't want to get together like they used to for the parties. They will do Facebook parties but those usually arent' as successful at this point anyway.

Many young adults use a debit card.
