It's sort of stuck in my head now ... that was a great dance song back then.

 

It's a great song now @SoX.  The one thing about our music is that it may roam around in our head, but it's always there.  We know it, love it and can pull it up whenever we want it.

You are so right ...  I didn't realize it was played in the movie Full Metal Jacket ... now I'll have to get it and watch.

I love the girl groups of the 60's and have many songs on my phone, including this one.  I am surprised that she was not older.  May she rest in peace.

The next time that I hear salt and ice together, it better be in a margarita!

Sad news. I enjoy listening to the Dixie Cups, the song Iko Iko is one of my favorites.
