@missy1 according to a news story, the old statute will be moved to another section of the park. I think it should be melted. Why have a statute for someone if no one recognizes who it is unless they read a plaque or ask someone. Pointless!

They need to find a farm, remove the scarecrow and put that first one in the field. I guarantee you, birds, squirrels, field mice will be a thing of the past.

There is a FB page called 'We Love Lucy! Get Rid of this Statue' that has a lot of photos of the new statue.

That old one looked like someone morphed Steve Buscemi and Conway Twitty.

I heard that they're keeping the 1st one & moving it to another area of the park, because it's become something of a tourist attraction in all of its awfulness!
