Some have said that they did not like the squirrels on Denim & Co.  I thought they were cute but I don't think I was the only one.  Denim and Co buyers must have thought the squirrel idea would be popular.  Remember when the squirrel shirt A452516 was presented?  Squirrels were hidden in the print.  The shirt sold out very quickly. I wanted one but  they sold out very quickly.   Callers loved Nutsie and Acorn and evidently those buying clothes loved the squirrel idea.  Denim & Co will NEVER be the same without Carolyn/Garolyn.

I liked the squirrels, I thought it was cute.  So many complained, I didn't understand all the negativity.  It was just a little aside in the show, Carolyn still gave all the pertinent details of the clothing.  I thought she ws perfect for that brand.  I wish her well.

Hold on to your fond memories because Nutsie and Acorn are living in Carolyn's attic now, guzzling Qvc wine and wondering where it all went wrong..

I think the squirels were a fun part of the shows, and a nod to Carolyn's love of animals. They added some levity to the sometimes boring talk of colors, sizes, fabrics, etc. I like both Gary and Carolyn, but watching Gary with Amy today was just blah.
