I know that The Killers have no connection to CCR. They simply covered the song in concert.

Always have liked the music of Journey and the voice of Steve Perry. He also isn't bad at strumming a guitar and hitting the keyboard. Glad to hear he is back singing again. We have a whole lot of music by Journey in our home.
