Yes, she crawled out from under her father's bloody body as he was slaughtered by Hamas only to be taken hostage.  This was after seeing her mother murdered by Hamas in their home.

I'm happy to read about the hostages that are being released, especially the childen.

Hopefully, the temporary ceasefire will lead to more negotiations and progress between both sides.

Yes it's sad to hear that the hostages "look like they've been treated well and seem healthy" etc.  Seriously?

The plan was always to slaughter Israelis and then use the hostages as a bargaining chip.  Oh don't retaliatiate - first of all, it's cruel to kill "innocent" people in retaliation (and we will make sure the numbers of "innocents" are high as we will be located in hospitals and we will refuse to let Gazans leave) and secondly - we won't give the hostages back unless you stop - and of course, pay us a lot of money to rearm.

And once Hamas regroups, they will attack Israel again just as brutally.  "From the river to the sea" - Israel must be wiped off the map.

@Isobel Archer - I don’t think anyone is saying Hamas is a good organization but to see the hostages in “good” condition gives the families of those still held in captivity some hope and a small comfort during their nightmare.

Human Rights Watch estimates that 5,500 children have been killed in Gaza since October 7th. I mourn the loss of ALL life.

@Love to Run  Of course and so do I and I think most the people here do too. We should mourn the "innocent". War is a terrible thing.

DH fought in Viet Nam. He accidently killed a woman and her small child because they said all the huts were empty....so they rolled grenades into the huts, where the Viet Cong were often hiding.  He went in and the mother lay there dead but the child, in very critical conditon was air lifted out.  It seems like our forces were at fault....yet the Viet Cong made them hide in their huts so, really, who  is to blame? I don't think DH will ever forget the mangled child....as it was he who threw the grenade that killed them.
