I will start by admitting I don't watch these shows very often and never all the way through. I find it terribly sad that in our modern society where people are supposed to be enlightened about things like mental illness that instead of taking these people off to a mental health clinic or hospital we instead make spectacles of them on TV. Do they at least get them mental health consultations before the shows are over? (I know clean house doesn't). So sad that we see every so often on TV when people are keeping animals in horrid conditions but when it is just people and no animals no one does anything. Some of these people have children in rat infested homes.
I am also always amazed that when clean house had those yard sales people would come and buy that stuff - who on earth would want anything that comes out of those filthy houses? You know it was a pig sty if clean house was having the yard sale.
