It was very sad and interesting. They did  good job of it. They did not do an autopsy, b/c Joan was Jewish. But from showing those last hours and the operating table scene, her daughter will win her case in suing those responsible. 

Joan's daughter had to take Joan off life support per Joan's directives.

Although Joan was 81, she was a very young 81. She was a remarkable woman and thrived in many careers. Those closest said she worked all the time, and if she didn't have an engagement lined up, she would worry and worry. A loss to us all.

thanks for posting this.  i'll have to look for it.  joan was a very hard worker and had to overcome so much.  i saw her in person a couple times and really liked her.  she's greatly missed.  there's no one like her.

It was very interesting. I'm sure they will show it many times. They showed the entire procedures as they occurred and told by many present. 

They clearly stated her life could have been saved if they had given her a tracheotomy, as she actually died from no oxygen to her brain.

It's really sad. I can only imagine how Melissa must feel. Joan was a strong woman and could possibly have lived many more years. 

I always watch Reelz. They've most recently done Robin Williams. They do all renowned celebrities. Hope you get to see it.
