Dear Friends

My sincere thanks to @Cakers3 for the shoutout and those who responded with thoughts and prayers for me and my family.  

Yes, my husband passed as expected, and the girls and I started 2025 with sadness in our hearts.  For me there was exhaustion that words cannot express clearly and is best understood by someone who has fulfilled a loved ones last wish to pass in their home.  

I needed to rest, and that is what I've done these last weeks.  Winter finally arrived in my area of southern WV with snow and extreme cold, which gave me the down time I needed to just eat, sleep, and rest.  The girls and I are doing well; we continue to feel the prayers going up for us, as we continue to face each new day.  

Know that I am fine, and will be posting again in the usual places.  I am blessed to have such kind and caring forum friends, and truly wish we could gather in person.
