Red, White and Blue Bird nests

Thought I had best get July ready for our feathered friends. Very quiet here in Sou Cal this morning but I don't expect it to continue that way all day long. Already super arm outside but as i said, I can't even hear a car driving up the busy thoroughfare right next to my house - well it's across the wash but still very close. Either everyone has the day off of they are already gone or something. Weird.

Birds are busy outside and unfortunately more and more bees keep popping up. I cannot get rid of them and they are driving the Hummingbirds nuts and I am so afraid the Hummers will leave for good. Darn those people for bringing in those hives - I know these are remnants from those hives as I have never had a bee problem here. I haven't heard or seen the duck that moved in out back - sure hope nothing has happened to it but you never know - these are the same people that had the hives. Also have not seen the white rabbits again either. Geesh - wonder what is going on. Will go back there and take another look as that duck was precious.

Trying to come up with something to do tomorrow as Tessa will be having a hissy fit. LOL. She went with a friend to see the fireworks Sunday night - and a carnival. This year they are having fireworks for 4 nights in a row - that is strange to me - but at any rate thank goodness I don't have to feel guilty about not taking her there. LOL. Have to think of something however.

Went up to get David yesterday to stay here for a couple of days and he pulled an attitude on me which is very strange for him. I would not bring his bike - it does not fit in the trunk of this car, give me a break - so he started pouting and said he would not come. How silly. So Tessa brought his 5 year old sister here for the night. {#emotions_dlg.lol}

Hope all have a great day today and also hope the Fourth will be special for you and your feathered friends.
