Hi Yankettes, Soxettes and fans,

Tonight starts the first of three games in the Bronx!

The weather is 87 and not too humid. No rain is expected tonight. It is going to get HOTTER AND MORE HUMID as the days pass.

Yankees are in first place, one game ahead of the Sox. This series is important to both teams.

Starting pitchers... Lester and Garcia.

All fans are welcome. Just remember, Yankettes and Soxettes play nice. No nastiness towards each other or our teams. We root for our own teams without tearing down the other team or its fans.

Yankee Frankies and Fenway Franks are ready for us. We have peanuts, Cracker Jacks, and so much more to munch on during the game.

Yankee and Sox merchandise is available for us to wear as we root on our teams. Help yourself.

May the best team win. Hoping for an exciting, close, well played, well umpired, injury free game! {#emotions_dlg.thumbup1}
