Re: Recommendations for removing excess lint in washer & dryer

I would stop using detergent and go with a laundry soda. Nellie's is a good one...pure, no fragrance and rinses all the way out.

I would try Nellie’s soap (love it since I switched to it a couple months ago) and do an extra rinse with each load.

Re: Recommendations for removing excess lint in washer & dryer

When I do a full load of laundry, I only put in a teaspoon of HE liquid laundry detergent. It's possible ur using too much detergent. For a smaller load, I put less detergent. I stopped using liquid fabric softeners (for washer) and softener sheets for dryer. They clog up the washer/dryer. I also put a small amount of vinegar and/or baking soda in the washer.

I have a long bristle brush (purchased from the Q 16 yrs ago) and insert it in the lint trap of my dryer to remove the lint.

I don't have any skin issues.
