I bet they love it and keep it for their children.I have my daughter's hospital receiving blanket & hat put away. It is not this one. However, my GD's is, and I also have it and her hat. When a family member or friend has a baby I crochet one so they can bring the baby home in it. If you don't like it, toss it.
