Receiving Wedding Invites/Graduation invites ...how do u handle this?

I'm curious how you all deal with this..getting wedding invitations, graduation party invitations in the mail from people that you have not seen in YEARS.!!!!!

We got a wedding invitation, no FIRST it was a "Save the date". THEN it was for the Bridal shower, THEN it was for the WEDDING, for a young woman who, we are related to, but do not KNOW and haven't seen since she was a newborn!! All 3 invites when directly into the garbage!! It infuriates me when they do this! They don't call, they don't write, they don't send Christmas cards, but boy they can find you when they are after some cash!!

Without fail, every Summer,We also get graduation party invites from people we NEVER see!!! I guess I don't get it??

What about you all? Do you do the same?
