Received an item I ordered from Amazon, but didn't get

a receipt, packing slip, or any other piece of paper............just the item in a Amazon box. The packaging was fine. Luckily, everything seems fine with the item.....it was a new wireless modem/router, but what if something was wrong? How in the world would I ever return it? Has this ever happened to anyone else?
