This is unbelievable.   I received a package from QVC today and inside was a gift card for $20 for Macy's.  

It was dated 2023...........go figure.

That is crazy I wonder how that happened?  Someone elses return?  Hopefully it works I don't think macys gift cards expire. Did your order look like a return?

No it didn't look llike a return.  It was wrapped just like a new item.  It was a nail polish set from a company called Green.   The card was just on the inside the box before the wrapped item.

You should be able to check the macys website to see if the gift card is good.  @luvmybeetle   If it is win win!

Do not use it until some sort of proof that it is a true gift card. There is a scam going around. Google it @luvmybeetle

@luvmybeetle  FYI, Macy's gift cards don't expire. You can go to Macy's and input the numbers under gift card. It will then accept it and keep in your account to use.

@Janey2 How would that scam work? You just go to a Macy's and hand the gift card to the check-out person. Either they use it or they don't.

Huh ... that's really odd.

I wonder if it belonged to the person who wrapped up your order, and they had misplaced it, trying to do more than one thing at a time.  

Well, even if you wanted to return it, QVC would be as confused as we are as to what to do with it.

If you feel odd using it for yourself, you could give some new mom something.

Or buy something and donate it.  

Or buy yourself something nice.  You must have a birthday coming up this year, right?

The box was a QVC box? No packing slip?
How was it delivered to you? Was your name on the outside of the package?

GREEN Cosmetics are not sold on QVC. ( The name brand, not the color of nail polish.)

Strange.
