One would think.

Some probably do - and come right back with a new name.
Brand new posters who seem very familiar with everything about the forums, the topics and the regular posters, and their very first posts are to complain about something or someone, or to post in "innocence" about a controversial topic. Go figure ....

Narcissistic people don't think that rules apply to them.

@makena And yet you only have 36 posts to your name? How would you know this?

No need to imply something nefarious. I lot of people lurk here and read before registering.

It goes on all of the time.
There are a number of posters who consistently post very hard line political things. Very anti-government things. Very controversial things. They keep coming back.
There are people who post very religious things that we all know are clearly against standards. They keep coming back.
There are people who, contrary to standards, continue to direct people to other sites. They keep coming back.
There are people who draw attention to this issue by starting a thread about these people.
They are here now. ![]()

I'm not talking about those kinds of posters
I'm talking about posters who have posted with the same nics who are given time outs multiple times.
They don't seem to want to ban people for whatever reason

I see a bunch of threads that have been closed, but wasn't here earlier so I don't really know what they were about. Were they all started by the same poster? If so, who? This thread is cryptic. Aren't you allowed to name the poster you are all talking about?

That's what I am wondering. Unless a poster says they got a time out how would anyone know how many time outs a poster was given if any at all. If anyone knows, please tell me.

I certainly hope so.
@makena Why would you care? I could hope for the same thing since your very first day here you commented about GJ.
I think it's "immature" to wish the banning of any poster. That task is up to the determination of the mods, not any of us here.
