It looks like it will be cold and snowy in East Tennessee. We don't usually have much snow though. Last year we had a pretty big snow on Christmas Eve, and my sister and niece had to pick up my nephew and me to go to their house. We didn't have much snow after that.
I don't like snow at all and won't drive in it. I always worry about having an emergency with one of my pets and not being able to get them to the Vet or ER when it snows. (Yes, I would take them. It would just mean having to call Uber or ask someone to take me and taking more time.)

If you love snow, I'll gladly give you that white blob over eastern MA!

What are the Farmers Almanac predictions based on?
I'm looking forward to a cool, dry winter.

@Kachina624 Interesting! I hope they are wrong!! My area of southeastern PA is showing more snow than New England.

Cold and snowy. I'm stoked. I like snow. And I'm one of the very few people around here who knows how to drive in it.

Cold and wet in Georgia, predicted. I foresee "ice" over snow and motorists who go absolutely bonkers out on the roadways!!

I am not a fan of sweaty, humid summer days, and I burn, so come on cool days! Winter doesn't bother me as long as I not driving in snow or ice! Love crisp cool air, yay autumn!!

@Desert Lily This is from their website. I've found their predictions to be pretty inaccurate but it's fun to read them.
HOW DOES THE ALMANAC PREDICT THE WEATHER?
By tradition, The Old Farmer’s Almanac employs three scientific disciplines to make long-range predictions: solar science, the study of sunspots and other solar activity; climatology, the study of prevailing weather patterns; and meteorology, the study of the atmosphere. We predict weather trends and events by comparing solar patterns and historical weather conditions with current solar activity.

@Kachina624 I wish they'd predict that next summer won't be nearly as hot as this one.
