John, I saw video of those tornados - TERRIFYING! Thought of you when I heard the reports - was relieved to see you posting today.

I heard on my local weather, there was also a tornado that was spinning backwards in the outbreak of twisters yesterday.

We had a sudden severe thunderstorm here yesterday - no weather warnings nothing, but in about a 4 block area that I live in we had trees down, limbs ripped of and driven vertically into the ground. The rest of the town only got heavy rain, thunder and lightening.

we're having a bit of a break from the 105 plus temps.

My phone says 99 for today and tomorrow and then low 100s until next week. That's a welcome relief because this late in June we could be in excess of 110.

Wow, it's only 79 here in sunny south Florida with a humidity of 73%. Maybe y'all should c'mon down.......

The thermometer on our deck is reading 90. I haven't seen it that high since last year.

The dog and I are not fond of anything over 80. (really 70)

94 today with high humidity.....chance of severe thunderstorms later.

tomorrow 97 degrees with high humidity.

actually anytime the temps are high and the humidity is high we have a chance for some bad thunderstorms!

Thankfully, we're still on a break from the heat here. It was in the low 40s when I got up this morning so I'm having tea. I miss having tea in the summer.

I guess it's only going to get up to 73 here today. As long as I don't have to be outside, that's cool enough for me!

I'm chilling in Milan tonight, headed for Amsterdam tomorrow. Hopefully it be cooler by the time I return over the weekend.

Ooh, I love Amsterdam. Never been to Milan, but I've been to Amsterdam a bunch of times. It's a beautiful and very cool city.

it's steamy here, but better than the winter we had, that was brutal.

I had to shut the windows and turn on the A/C a few hours ago. I'm so looking forward to the 80s with lower humidity by the weekend!

I didn't care for the over 70 inches of snow we had during the winter, but I cannot tolerate humidity and 90 plus degrees!
