So, before Christmas several were giving advice on the best bourbon to give as a gift. I ended up buying the Woodford Reserve that was recommended and DH liked it very much. Then, after already having bought that, a couple days later I saw a a gift set of the Maker's Mark. It was so cute because the glasses in the set with the bourbon also had the dripping red "wax" on the outside of the glasses. Really cute. Couldn't resist that set because of those glasses. So Dh got to compare the two.
