Girl,

we're getting in a matter of minutes his official letter from SS saying what he will be receiving for his monthly benefit. He delayed drawing till he was 70

(Oct 20th) to get Full benefits, plus, the 8% extra tacked on for suspending benefits until 70. We know and have been told what he's suppose to get, but, till we see in written confirmation won't rest. He's antsy about it.

@SharkE : Understand. Then scary to depend on government or state retirement benefits. Well- I  am 65. As far as money- not poor or rich, have a modest home . Bills are paid with a little left over, have a small savings. God has been good to us on this journey and having faith that things will be good. We are Blessed in so many other ways. Trying to focus on staying positive and happy. So many times we worry or stress over things that never happen. Southern Bee

@SharkE : Prayers answered. Take a deep breath and relax.

Praying DH will focus on the excitement of all the possibilities with retirement- it’s now his chance to plan his day and do whatever. Southern Bee
