For Christmas orders, I hope people order in November to be sure of it arriving by Christmas.
These delivery fiasco's are ridiculous for an online retailer of this size.
You'd think that instead of having 3 channels, which MANY posters have admitted they don''t watch (myself included), constant cosmetic changes of the product pages, etc., that they would spend the time and money to have this site working right for all users and put the $$$ towards a decent package delivery system.
AND figure out why so many of us get very limited emails (if any), including the Insider magazine/link, even after having made repeated requests to the social team and were reassured we'd get it.....and I mean more than once after requesting.
AND many other IT issues customers are experiencing including messages saying that the site is "not secure"
My train of thought is that if their IT Team can't even figure out an email problem,
QVC is no longer a safe place to shop.
But that's just my opinion.....

I called CS today....auto-delivery of Purity for 8/4 never received.....she was very nice....sending replacement express...can't complain....

Now I'm wondering if this sometimes 3 way delivery system-between logistics/UPS/US mail and who knows what else-cheap for the companies that use this system but not always good for the customer is part of the problem-that and like @Azcowgirl ,mentioned, could it be at your locl post office or does the UPS driver automatically scan it in as delivered when he dropped it off at the local post office.
Which he/she should not have done.
I used to work for UPS customer service-the number is still 1-800-pick-ups. 1-800-742-5877. I think calling the local post office is also good. I've tried early in the morning like between7-8. When no answer I try again.
We were told not to speak badly about UPS if we ever left the company. I would have helped you find it! It was years ago in one of my many she does everything jobs but I'm afraid I have not kept that _"don't speak badly about UPS"
Really it all comes down to how careful the driver or mail delivery person is.
I've spent hours on the phone with both. US mail actually found a package I mailed to a friend months later after I filed a claim.
But that is neither here nor there now. You want your package!
If they can't find it for you, you will get your money back from the company but I know you would rather have the dang package!
Oh one more thing @Kachina624-UPS and the US mail CAN contact the driver and ask them where they "delivered" your package and what happened to it. So don't give up.
I know how frustrating this can be!

They got to town finally and I get a message in tracking that UPS will deliver rather than the post office since they'll be in the area (they're in the area daily).
So I'm waiting, waiting, check tracking and see that all three were delivered at 1:56pm, only they weren't. Nothing outside anywhere, no dogs barking at a truck. Spend 30 minutes trying to find a phone number for the local UPS terminal. There isn't one. No way to contact anyone.
I talk to a nice young man at QVC CS and we decide to wait and see if a good Samaritan shows up with them. One item is sold out.
Then to add insult to injury, I remember I've got two items coming from HSN, check their tracking and guess what else was delivered at 1:56pm. So that 5 packages misdelivered by a moron at UPS. Oh...and the HSN items are both sold out.
I'm so upset I have a tension headache. I don't know what's going to come of the shipping fiasco in the country but it seems impossible to get a package from point A to B in a reasonable time with accuracy. The infrastructure just can't handle the surge brought on by internet sales. Christmas is going to be a nightmare.
@Kachina624 Then to avoid a shipping nightmare, why don't you shop locally?
That was so unnecessary @Pearlee
Surely you know there are disabled people on this forum. It's also none of our business why someone can't do something for one reason or another.

@Noel7 Really there is no need to get nasty. I didn't mean anything by my question. I have issues with walking also and am disabled enough to have a handicap parking placard yet I shop locally so that just didn't occur to me. I also see plenty of people who have issues walking using motor carts. So again, it didn't occur to me that a disability might keep someone from shopping locally. She was so sick that she gave herself a headache over this so it seemed to me with Christmas shopping looming, shopping locally would alleviate that. Sorry you felt the need to chastise me.

I've had five UPS drivers through the 40 years I've lived here and not one of them was a MORON! They are all well iintentioned and do the best they can. My present driver can't finish his heavy route until well after 7:00 in the evening. I can't imagine how many hours he puts in each day. My son drove for UPS in his earlier years and he's definitely no moron.
As for my Postman, he is wonderful and does a magnificent job. The only time I have a problem is when he has a day off. Then it's a toss up for good day or bad day.
But somewhere in the system there lies a confusing sitution and I think it stems from switching from one delivery service to another.
Yes, I sometimes get something that's not mine and sometimes I am sure my things disappear into the pits. Two das ago I got some things in a small box - it had clearly been opened and something was missing. Oh, well. Customer Service will help. I am shopping locally for Christmas.

I was so happy to see that UPS would deliver rather than wait for the post office rigamarole. Wrong assumption.
When this happens to me I either deliver it myself or I get the phone number for the proper person and call them to see what they would like me to do - hold it for them or send it back. I try to handle the problem as I would like someone to do for me. And you can call the UPS national number - they can handle anything local quite well. Their CS has always done a fine job for me.

I like to support local businesses and also artisans who come to arts and crafts fairs in our city. Plus, those vendors' items are very unique gifts that the recipient is unlikely to have or get from someone else. Love shopping that way!

This post has been removed by QVC because it's unkind.

That's lovely. I do, too. But I buy more things online, and I would prefer they show up when tracking says that they have.
Apples and oranges.
