Re: Rain Rain Go Away - 36 hours and counting...

Rainy and chilly here in north central Ohio too.  Sick of it.  Hope this isn't going to be a repeat of last year, beautiful April and rainy ,cold May.  Last year it rained every weekend in May.  Bummer.

My yard is like a swimming pool here in Indiana - 36 hours of rain and woke up - raining again!  I'm gonna need a boat folks!  What's it like in your neck of the woods?

SW MI here, no r*** this morning. (Like snow). It still isn't r****ng, but it's a long hard battle the next few days to say that accoring to the weather report.

I'm in CNY too, hi @Gram W!  We are beyond tired of the cold, rainy yuck!  We were able to squeeze some lawn mowing in between showers on Tuesday, but it's back to dreary.  Everything is greening up nicely, so at least we have that Cat Happy

Same here in central NY.  Still cold and windy along with all the rain.   Forecast says same for the next week.  My beautiful mowed 3 acre yard is gone.   By the time it dries out I will have to bale it.

All I have to do is think of those who are dealing with the floods and I do not complain.  Their world is being turned upside down.  My world is only inconvenienced.  I have had 2 hurricanes here in my 72 years.  Any flooding here is always minimal but the individual's damage incurred is still upsetting.  I am blessed to live here.

I was just commenting to a friend this week how much I love living in NY state. It is beautiful and we have very few weather extremes. Right now it is kind of cold and rainy, but it won't last.
