I don't believe most of what is printed, I just decided to join the band wagon and let those who read it decide for themselves. What the hey, we are going to be inundated with H and M for a long time with many stories, some real, most not, take your pick.

Meghan wants the baby to be born in Los Angeles. It went on to say that Meghan and Harry are checking out hospitals and are interested in Cedars Sinai where Beyonce had her twins.
Being born in America will automatically give the child American citizenship. They also want to buy a house in Los Angeles where the child (and/or future children) can spend a lot of time while growing up. One specification is that the child be educated in England.

Personally, I doubt the Queen will be very happy with the news. I would imagine she will not approve of it and just might tell them they cannot do it. Of course Meghan and Harry can turn around and tell her it is their child and they can do what they want, however, the Queen can say it is her great grandchild and it will be born in England, down comes the hammer, bang, so be it!!!!!!! There is a price to pay when displeasing the Queen, therefore, no one does it. More drama!!!
It’s already not truth, LA does not have hospital named Mount Sinai.New York has. So who crieated this did not do homework.
Sorry about that, my error. It should have read "Cedars Siani" in Los Angeles.

Meghan is still an American citizen. She has applied for British citizenship but it takes time to process and they opted not to rush it. She then can opt for dual citizenship. Their child can, also, have dual citizenship if Maeghan is still an American citizen and if they apply for it, whether born in England or here.
And the Queen maintains legal custody of all heirs to the throne. She has final say. I really doubt the baby will be born in any place other than where Kate gave birth in London.

once born, their child will have dual citizenship automatically since meghan is still an american and harry is a british citizen. you dont have to "apply" for it. the only thing she will need to get for the baby is an american birth certificate.

Do people really believe this kwap?

I seriously doubt that she wants her child to be born in LA as opposed to the UK....FAKE NEWS!

I think Meghan is a Brit in her heart, by choice. From everything I have read she was an avid Anglophile before she ever moved to the UK. SO I agree with @JANE MARPLE, she is British by heart, and choice. It's a done deal
I can't imagine why she would want to have her baby here? Especially with that Markle family on the loose..That creepy bunch would never be out of the news, if she had her baby in the USA. They manage to get into the news enough ,living an ocean away

Jane, she is indeed still a US citizen.
